Amazingly, gay people in relationships have sex with each other, just like straight people. A relationship vid is a relationship vid, a graphic adult vid is a graphic adult vid - the genders shouldn't be making a difference. There have been slash videos which spliced in explicit footage from another movie (with a same-sex pairing if the video is slash) and perhaps that is what Heathra was concerned about. It is possible to "imply" explicit sexuality between a non-canon pairing (Robin and Guy, Marian and Allan, whoever) by using outside footage. But like you say, since such explicit footage would be frowned upon on this board anyway, it doesn't really matter what the specific pairing is, it ain't happening here. Proboards would get very fussy about it.

Thanks for replying Elvira as that is precisely what I meant.

Don't ever speak out against homophobia here - it WILL be held against you.

Oh good heavens. Drama. You will notice on this thread that there are several posts made by some of us, which quote or refer to other posts which no longer exist. These other posts were not removed by any of the moderators. They were removed by the user who posted them. We're not really big here on deleting other people's posts, unless they are clearly flaming or spam, or break the rules in some significant way. And so we will not be deleting the posts here. If any member here sees any posts (especially written by moderators) and they feel they are inappropriately discriminatory in any way, please let us know. Do a screen grap (press F13 or "Print Screen" on PC, use the keyboard shortcut Command-Control-Shift-3 on Mac) and send us the screencap, so that even if the member deletes their post, you will have evidence. (In addition, Mac users can go File >> Print >> and then choose to print as PDF, and you'll have a pristine PDF copy of the page.) When it comes to online squabbles and misunderstandings, I tend to not take any claims of misbehavior seriously, unless I can see posts or some sort of evidence showing that such misbehavior existed. As such, I am glad that we moderators have kept all our posts here intact, so they can be judged for what was actually written. In this case, we see that the term "homophobia" has been introduced in this thread. If anyone sees any evidence of homophobia expressed on this thread or elsewhere, please speak up. (I apologize if some of you have no idea what's going on . . .just never mind, then! Move along, move along, nothing to see here. )

If you made a video from a movie not yet released on DVD, but you got the clips from movie trailers or clips that were shown on TV for promotional purposes, that's okay. If you downloaded the movie online (like via a torrent) then no.

Hello. It,s nice to meet all of you. I love watching music videos, especially period drama. From over a year I'm doing my own vids, but not a lot of them. I found this forum while searching for new vids on Elvira's page and hope to find a lot of useful information and friendship My first vid was done with Virtual Dub and it costed me plenty of effort to adjust the clips to the song. Now I'm working with Movie Maker, though I'm not entirily pleased with it. Could you recommend me any program which doesn't take a lot of space and has small system requirements and is freeware? I have AviSynth at home and do know that it offers a lot of interesting effects, but it's also quite sophisticated to use

Don't worry! I'll let you off the hook! Unless you're here to post links and run (never intending to participate in the forums) then I'm sure it'll be fine.

I wasn't sure where to put this question/idea, so I guess I'll ask it here.
Would it possible to combine certain tutorial links under one topic? I have some bookmarked some but others I haven't and it can be hard to remember which forum they are in. It doesn't look like the 101 forum is being used much, and that would be a good place to put the various topics.
For example all the tutorials on aspect ratio can be grouped together. Name the topic "Aspect Ratio Tutorial Links" and have it in the 101 section. That way, if I forget where a topic is, I can go to that topic and scroll though all the various links listed until I find the one I'm looking for.
Or, another example, put all the tutorials about Sony Vegas under one topic, title it 'All you need to Know about SV' and put it under the 101 topic. I haven't done an official count, but there are a number of SV tutorials (and this example can be repeated for the other editing software).
I know that some tutorials has programs that can be used by various editing software, in which case the tutorials could be listed under all the "link topics" that apply.
It might a stupid idea, and maybe even a little time consuming, but it would make tutorials easier to find and sort through. And, it would give the 101 forum an actual purpose. (I noticed that there are maybe 4 active topics in it and the rest of have been moved.)

A reaallllly dumb question pertaining to the forum ,but I have not been able to figure out on my own.
When I link a url, how do I change the name of the url link? In other words instead other the url showing as "www.etcetc.com/etcnothing", its show up as "Etc." (Other forums I'm on have the hyperlink button comes up as a box where you put the website in, press next, and it then you can change the name and click okay. The url thing doesn't appear to do that on this fourm. Or it eludes me.)
I have been unable to find it on my own and I hate posting an link and then posting a sentence of what the link is.

You can press the 3rd icon on the bottom row of tags (the one with a world below the underline tag) to get the url tags or you can just type them. The tags are . To add the link and text explaining a link, type: Text explaining link. Unlike html links, you do not need to use quotations " " around the link. Just be sure to include the equal sign.
